Acorn’s triple treat
YORK Acorn ARLC trio Tom Hill, Dave Burns and Danny Caldwell have been called up to the BARLA Great Britain Under-23s side to play England Students.
The three Blue and Golds stars, who won promotion to the National Conference premier division with Acorn, are vying to be in the final 17 for the game at College Grove, Wakefield, on Tuesday (7pm).
The fixture is part of the build-up for a tour of Italy next month, when BARLA will be defending the Simone Franchini Nines Trophy.
